Second baseman Marcus Giles had 3 base hits and 2 RBI at the ballpark as the
Detroit Iron Gloves pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Enterprise
Trekkers by the count of 8 to 7.

Detroit had the game winning rally in the top of the 9th inning scoring 2
runs.  After two were out Jim Edmonds opened up the rally as he drew a walk.
Giles followed and he drew a walk.  Marquis Grissom then doubled driving home
two runs.  Detroit had a total of 11 hits for the game.  

The victory went to Braden Looper(2-0) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs.
Francisco Rodriguez was credited with his 10th save.  Paul Quantrill(0-3)
suffered the loss in relief.  

Mike Wilson was very happy after the game, 'It's great to come back and win it
in your last at bats! Our guys just wouldn't give up.  And did you see the
fans - one minute they're laughing and screaming down all sorts of
unprintable stuff at our guys - the next minute - SILENCE! Yes sir, a very
enjoyable win this afternoon!'
